Last Clinic in 2020: November 4th, 2020 (Auto-Refill ONLY) 

      In efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Riverside Free Clinic will be suspending a lot of services (including dental services) until further notice. Our last clinic for this year is currently scheduled to be on November 4th and we will only be providing auto-refill medication to returning patients. Please check back periodically, as we continue to update information. Thank you for your understanding, as we work to return to normal function as soon as possible. The MedSpa (Medical Spanish) Committee is tasked with bridging the language barrier between the Spanish speaking community and the healthcare team at the Riverside Free Clinic. Our duty is to serve the Spanish speaking community with by answering their questions to the best of our ability. MedSpa volunteers translate information from patients to doctors, medical students, pharmacists, dentists, and many more. This is done to ensure that the Spanish-speaking community of Riverside has an outlet to extend their healthcare needs without fear of being rejected for not speaking English.

We collaborate with the different committees on a daily basis to ensure nothing gets lost in translation. Aside from directly translating conversations, the committee also translates any and all documents that the patient will receive. If a patient's needs help filling out a document, we guide patients every step of the way. We hope that our action will result in a comfortable and enjoyable setting to ensure that the patient receives the best care possible.
